Quick-Form - Gang Form System

Quick-Form is completely manufactured in the United States, using feet and inches. Quick Form's major component is an 8' x 4' panel. Universal's Quick-Clamps are used to assemble your desired Gang Form. Fillers and corners are available for unique field conditions.

The basic component of the Quick-Form system is the 4' x 8' steel frame panel faced with ¾", 14-ply birch plywood. The plywood face allows for easy attachment of embeds without the added expense of pre-drilling holes. Forms are ganged together using a 1-piece Quick-Clamp which can be set and tightened in mere seconds. This clamping system reduces assembly time and labor cost by half, compared to conventional gang forming systems. Cross members are continuously punched for easy handling and hardware attachment.

The assembled gang form weight of 15# per square foot (about 75% less than similar gang form systems), allows for larger gang forms, within the capacity of the lifting equipment. Tie holes will accommodate up to 1 ½" taper ties or she-bolts. The form design and tie spacing eliminates the need for

horizontal walers and full-length vertical stiff backs. With a system rating of 1,650 P.S.F. this allows for much faster concrete placement.

Other unique features of the Quick-Form system are a Bulkhead Clamp, which allows inset or flush bulkheads. A Step-Out bracket facilitates difficult vertical transitions, such as brick ledges and haunches, to be formed without expensive blockouts. A 6" transition panel allows you to connect with hand set forms for pilaster, odd corner details and other wall projections.

The Core Wall Stripper and the Core Wall Release Hinge make Quick-Form ideal for core walls, elevators and stairwells.
